Trip To Ipoh, Aug 2014 - Part III (Ipoh Old Town, Plan B and Burps & Giggles)

Assalamualaikum,

Ok sambung lagi dan lagi. Mengantuk ya amat ni rasa nak terhantuk kepala atas keyboard. HAHAHA. Ok lepas cek-out hotel esoknya tu, kitorang plan nak jenjalan Ipoh Old Town. Sebab baca apa yang menarik kat Ipoh ni salah satunya old town ni lah. Ada baca juga pasal tempat menarik untuk orang kemaruk bergambar macam kitorang ni. Sekitar Ipoh Old Town memang banyak tempat menarik yang sesuai for street photography. Salah satunya berdekatan Plan B. Kat situ ada banyak kedai makan, kedai souvenirs, arts & ada hotel. Macam bed & breakfast konsep dia, nama dia Sekeping Kong Heng. Memang sempoi.

"The Old Town is located to the west of the Kinta River. Ipoh came into existence in the 1820s as a village at the highest navigable point of the Kinta River. It was less prominent at that time compared to the early mining town . From the turn of the 19th century, when more British tin-mining companies were set up in the city, Ipoh gained greater prominence. Influential institutions such as The Chartered Bank of India, Australia and China Limited opened offices in Ipoh. Ipoh developed into one of Malaysia's main cities around the turn of the 19th century due to the booming tin mining industry. During the British colonial era, Ipoh was Malaysia's second city for administrative purposes. There are several notable buildings from the British Colonial era such as the railway station and the town hall. 70% of Ipoh's population is of Chinese origin."

Jalan punya jalan perut pun lapar. Sini banyak sangat cafe mostly chinese. Kena cek dulu if korang nak tau halal ke tidak. One of the cafes is Burps & Giggles. Omai cantik sangat interior dia. Love how they used antics stuff to decor the cafe. Ibu siap cakap 'Eh barang lama pon jadi cantik bila pandai decor ye?' Foods was OK. Yang penting ambience dia.

Teng teng!!

Banyak lagi tempat menarik kat Ipoh tak sempat nak explore. InsyaAllah nanti nak pi Ipoh lagi. Tak puas jalan² and makan². Siapa ada cadangan tempat menarik kat Ipoh sila tinggalkan komen ye.
